Limestone and Grassland Butterflies of the UK

Thursday October 17th 2019, 7:30 at Wulstans Hall, Pershore.

An illustrated talk by John Tilt. John is a butterfly expert and co-ordinator for the West Midlands branch of Butterfly Conservation. He will be talking to us about the many butterflies found on different types of grasslands, illustrated by his own collection of photographs. The grasslands and traditional meadows of Worcestershire are home to many species of butterflies including Green Hairstreak, Meadow Brown, Marbled White and Common Blue. Limestone grasslands support species such as the Dark Green Fritillary and  several species of Blues.
